It is rare to find someone talking a whole load of sense regarding the nutritional and medicinal value of food itself. This video that we came across recently is an excellent all round overview of the use of food as medicine.

Jerry Brunetti, the lecturer in the video was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 1999. Being given just 6 months to live, and not too keen on filling his body with toxic chemicals, he decided to treat himself using sound nutrition as the means. He tells his exciting story in more detail in the video itself.

This is a very beneficial video. It is almost three hours long. We suggest you take some time out, get a notepad and start taking notes. As we have researched in all of the areas covered in the video, we can say that what Brunetti says is correct. Our own research corroborates what is in the video. Instead of covering all these different topics ourselves, it makes it easier for us to communicate them to you by way of this video presentation. There is great info on the nutritional and medicinal value of many fruits and vegetables.

Disclaimer: There are some passing references to red wine and lard from pig as a source of vitamin D which you can obviously ignore. Both the pig and wine are expressly forbidden in Islam (and consuming them certainly won't make you a Healthy Muslim). There are plenty of lawful and just as good alternatives. Aside from that, the rest of the content is fine and educational.

We also have managed to acquire the slideshow presentations used by Brunetti in the video. Keep checking this page for a downloadable PDF version.

You might be tempted to skip the video and just view the presentation slides, but don't! Watch the entire video for full benefit, otherwise you will miss a lot of useful information.
